Hours: 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8am - 4pm
Salary: £25,531 per annum (not pro rata)
Contract: Permanent | Term Time

We're looking for an enthusiastic and committed Outdoor Education Tutor to join our dedicated team and help create memorable learning experiences beyond the classroom. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire pupils with autism and additional needs through practical, hands-on learning that builds confidence, independence, resilience and life skills.
From leading Forest School sessions and developing horticulture projects to supporting pupils to achieve nationally recognised awards such as the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, John Muir Award and AQA Unit Awards, you'll play a key role in preparing our young people for adulthood through meaningful real-world experiences.
No two days will be the same. You'll spend much of your time outdoors delivering engaging activities, while also planning programmes, coordinating educational visits and working alongside colleagues to ensure every pupil has the opportunity to succeed.
What you will be doing
Deliver engaging outdoor learning programmes including Forest School, horticulture and enrichment activities.
Lead pupils towards recognised accreditations including the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, John Muir Award and AQA Unit Awards.
Plan and support educational visits, outdoor adventures and community-based learning opportunities.
Develop inspiring outdoor learning environments and horticulture projects that promote wellbeing, enterprise and preparation for adulthood.
