Your new role
Quorn Hall School is an independent therapeutic school for children and young people aged 6–17 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties, Autism, and ADHD. Our culture is based on trauma-informed attachment awareness and a low-arousal approach.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a diverse multidisciplinary team (MDT) including Speech and Language Therapists (SaLT), Art and Music Therapists, Psychologists, Counsellors, ELSA, and OT/Sensory Integration practitioners.
Your role will include clinical practice, carrying out the full OT process and caseload management, working independently on an agreed caseload of pupils with SEMH. You will work collaboratively with the therapy team to ensure OT targets are embedded across the curriculum and reflected in each pupils individual education plan. You will also work closely with families, careers and other professional to support the carry-over of strategies into the home environment.

Essential Requirements
· A degree in Occupational Therapy (or similar) and HCPC Registration
· Full UK Driving Licence
· Post graduate training or experience related to child development, neurodevelopmental conditions, ASD or ADHD.
· Experience of a wide range of assessment and treatment tools
· Knowledge of range of appropriate paediatric occupational therapy interventions
· Experience working with families, carers and other professionals
· Excellent interpersonal skills. You will also be empathetic and assertive with a good sense of humour!
