About this role

We still have one part-time vacancy (3 or 4 days a week) available starting from the new academic year on 1 September 2026 for a loving, caring, enthusiastic and happy qualified Teaching Assistant with at least NVQ Level 3 Early Years qualification. The position offers an exciting opportunity for qualified practitioner who is passionate about working at the cutting edge of Early Childhood Education and Development in a highly friendly and supportive team environment in which everyone strives for excellence. The actual salary will depend on the successful candidate’s experience, qualifications and agreed working hours. The full-time actual annual Term-Time Only starting salary ranges from £22,110 to £23,590. It is for Term-Time Only (34-35 working weeks + 5.6 weeks paid holiday) for our standard full-time hours of 8.30-15.45 Monday-Friday (the comparable annual Full-Time Equivalent salary would be £28,822-£30,750). The 30-minute lunch break and the 15-minute morning break are paid. The full-time salary will be pro-rated at 60% or 80% depending on the agreed number of weekdays worked. In addition to working term-time, we are keen for the successful candidate to potentially also work during some of our holiday provision weeks. There are further opportunities for earning additional remuneration through enhanced overtime rates for wrap-around care. Experience with Special Educational Needs is welcome but not essential.
