Nursery Room Leader Under 2s

To start September 2026 Inspire young minds in a warm, welcoming nursery setting. We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and qualified Nursery Room Leader to join our friendly nursery team in the Under 2s room in Lingfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the early experiences of children, in a nurturing environment where wellbeing and learning go hand in hand. This is for maternity cover for up to one year. Whether you’re already working in a similar setting or looking to take the next step in your early years career, we’d love to hear from you. What you’ll be doing You’ll play an active role in the day-to-day life of the nursery, working closely with parents, carers and other professionals to ensure every child feels safe, supported and inspired to learn. What we’re looking for We’re looking for someone with experience in an early years setting who brings energy, warmth and a genuine passion for working with young children. You’ll need a relevant childcare qualification (NVQ Level 3), excellent communication skills and the confidence to work on your own initiative, as well as a team-focused mindset and a positive, can-do attitude. Hours and benefits The role is full time, working all year round. The nursery is open Monday to Friday between 7.30am and 6.00pm, and hours are worked on a shift basis within these times.
