Nursery Nurse

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Nurse to join our exceptional Nursery team. Could that be you? As our Nursery Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our Nursery, focusing on creating a safe, welcoming, and enriching environment where children can learn, play, and grow. You will work closely with children aged 6 months – 4 years old, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging activities, interactive play, and thoughtful guidance. About the Role and You Contract type: Full Time, Permanent, All Year Working pattern: 8-hour shifts to be worked between 7.30 am – 4:30 pm Salary: £12.71 per hour Start date: July 2026 Your responsibilities will include: · Supervising and supporting children within the Early Years setting, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times.· Supporting children with toilet training, personal care, meal times and daily routines.· Assisting the Room Leader with the planning, delivery and assessment of engaging EYFS activities.· Observing children’s development and updating Tapestry daily with observations and learning updates.· Communicating effectively with parents and carers regarding children’s progress and wellbeing.· Ensuring the Nursery environment is clean, organised and resources are stored neatly.· Supporting activities and supervising children during Holiday Club sessions and trips.· Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, hygiene and health and safety.
