As Nursery Manager, you will provide inspirational leadership, ensuring the highest standards of care, education, safeguarding and operational excellence.
You will create an environment where children thrive, families feel supported, and staff are empowered to deliver exceptional practice.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the day-to-day operation of the nursery
Driving excellence in teaching, learning and child development
Creating a stimulating, nurturing and ambitious learning environment
Leading, motivating and developing a high-performing team
Building strong partnerships with parents and carers
Ensuring full compliance with safeguarding, welfare and regulatory requirements
Monitoring occupancy, admissions and operational performance to support continued growth
Promoting the values and ethos of Long Close School in all aspects of nursery life
Contributing to the strategic development and future success of the nursery

Essential Requirements
Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (minimum)
Level 5 qualification, EYTS, QTS, B.Ed. or equivalent desirable
Significant experience within an Early Years setting
Previous leadership experience as a Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager, Room Leader or similar
Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework and statutory requirements
Understanding of nursery funding, budgets, staffing ratios and operational management
Strong safeguarding knowledge and experience
