Contract: Fixed Term for 3 Years
Hours: Full time, 37 hours/week; term-time plus one week, 39 weeks/year.
Salary: Grade 8, points 19 – 20. Full-year salary is £32,061 to £32,597; pro rata salary for term time working is £27,453 to £27,912

About the role
UCC is an inclusive, ambitious community. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced Numeracy Intervention Lead to deliver targeted interventions. This is a new and vital role at UCC. You will be based in our Maths department supporting pupils with a diverse range of needs and abilities across a broad age range, that could include Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.

About You
The successful candidate will have
Proven experience in delivering successful interventions, particularly to students with lower prior attainment;
A good knowledge and understanding of Maths;
Possess a strong understanding of SEND strategies, with relevant qualifications in behaviour support or emotional literacy being highly desirable;
Be a collaborative team player, capable of leading small working groups for intervention and working alongside our Maths department, Learning Support Assistants and external agencies;
Hold a deep commitment to promoting student independence, well-being, and successful transition from primary school.
