MYP IT Teacher

Role & Responsibilities As a part-time IT Teacher, you will: Teach coding and digital skills as part of the IB Middle Years programme, in collaboration with Teachease (Finnish Coding School). Plan and deliver engaging, hands-on lessons that develop computational thinking and problem-solving skills. Teach programming with a strong focus on Python. Guide students in applying coding skills to real-world and interdisciplinary contexts. Foster creativity, logical thinking, and responsible use of technology. Collaborate with colleagues and external partners (Teachease) to ensure high-quality programme delivery. Integrate modern tools and innovative teaching approaches to enhance learning experiences. Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages experimentation and innovation. Assess student progress and provide constructive, individualized feedback. Contribute to school initiatives and interdisciplinary projects. Qualifications:Degree in Computer Science, IT, Education, or a related field. Experience teaching coding or IT in a school setting. Strong knowledge of Python programming. Experience with IB programmes or international education is an advantage.
