Teacher of Music
Capital School Bahrain – British Curriculum International School
Capital School Bahrain is seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Teacher of Music to join our growing secondary team.
The successful candidate will teach Music across Key Stage 3 and play a key role in the development of KS4 Music provision, including curriculum planning and preparation for GCSE/IGCSE courses. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative practitioner to shape and grow Music within a supportive and ambitious British curriculum school.
Key Responsibilities include:
· Delivering high-quality Music lessons across KS3
· Leading the development of KS4 Music provision, including curriculum design
· Preparing students for future GCSE/IGCSE Music pathways
· Promoting practical music-making, performance, and composition
· Organising and contributing to concerts, performances, and school events
· Supporting student progress through effective assessment and feedback
· Working collaboratively within the Creative department and wider school team
The ideal candidate will have:
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
· Strong subject knowledge in Music
· Experience teaching Music at KS3
· Proven ability or experience in developing KS4 Music provision
· Ability to deliver both practical and theoretical elements of Music
· A commitment to inclusive practice and student wellbeing
