WE ARE RECRUITING – MEDIA ACADEMY CYMRU
Multiple Employment Opportunities Across South Wales

CTRL Case Manager (Teenage Relationship Abuse) – 2 Vacancies
Location: Gwent
This is a new service providing specialist support to young people experiencing, or at risk of, abuse within intimate teenage relationships. The roles involve delivering individual and joint interventions with both the young person causing harm and the young person experiencing harm, promoting healthy relationships, raising awareness of abuse, and supporting young people to make informed and safe choices. Opportunities are available within the team to provide both female-focused and male-focused support.
Young Adult (18-25) Diversion Case Manager – 1 Vacancy
Location: Cardiff
We have a vacancy within our Cardiff team, supporting young adults aged 18-25 who are in contact with, or at risk of entering, the criminal justice system to make positive and sustained changes in their lives. The programme aims to reduce entry into, and escalation within, the criminal justice system by building on young people’s strengths and addressing the needs that may place them at risk.
Positive Masculinity Case Manager – 1 Vacancy
Location: Cardiff
We have a vacancy within our Cardiff team, engaging and supporting children and young people to develop positive attitudes, healthy relationships and respect for others. The role focuses on raising awareness of misogyny, harmful online influences, toxic masculinity and gender-based violence, while promoting positive role models and pro-social values. The postholder will safeguard young people, identify and respond to risks and empower them to recognise and challenge harmful attitudes and behaviours in themselves and others.
Due to the nature of this role, MAC considers that being male is a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010. Accordingly, applications for this role are invited from male candidates only.
