Teaching & Learning
● Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons for Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, and Calculus.
● Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, including differentiated instruction, inquiry-based learning and collaborative problem-solving.
● Develop and implement formative and summative assessments that measure student mastery of learning objectives.
● Use student data to inform instruction, provide timely feedback, and support academic growth.
● Incorporate educational technology platforms
Classroom Environment
● Create a positive, inclusive, and culturally responsive classroom environment for a diverse international student.
● Establish clear expectations and routines that support student engagement and behavior.
● Support students in building strong mathematical reasoning and communication skills.
Professional Responsibilities
● Collaborate with the math department on curriculum planning, vertical alignment, and common assessments.
● Participate in schoolwide professional learning, accreditation processes, and faculty meetings.
● Communicate regularly and professionally with students, parents, and colleagues.
● Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and grades.
● Supervise students during assigned duties (lunch, homeroom, advisory, etc.).
● Contribute to extracurricular programs, clubs, or after-school activities as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
Required
● Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Math Education, or closely related field.
● Valid teaching license/certification from the U.S. or equivalent qualification.
● Experience teaching secondary mathematics within an American or international curriculum.
● Strong command of Algebra, Geometry, and Calculus concepts and pedagogy.
● Ability to teach in a multicultural, multilingual environment.
● Proficiency with digital tools and instructional technology.
Preferred
● Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or Mathematics.
