The exact teaching assignment will be determined based on the skills and expertise of the individual and the needs of the current MS/HS World Languages team. Preferred attributes include experience with and a strong understanding of the ACTFL World-Readiness Standards and proficiency-based language instruction; AP experience is preferred. The successful candidate will create engaging and authentic opportunities for students to communicate in Spanish, demonstrate strong collaborative teaming, integrate inclusive practices at the planning and instruction stages, and contribute to a positive culture and climate where students are at the center. In order to meet Concordia schoolwide learning outcomes (SLOs) and grade level expectations, the teacher carries out the following broad and specific responsibilities across the following domains: Planning and Preparation, Classroom Management, Instruction, and Professional Responsibilities.
