Minibus Driver

Ashville College, Harrogate is seeking to recruit a full time Minibus driver working term time only. The role of Minibus Driver is to operate the daily collection or dropping off of pupils in the morning or evening at designated points on a set bus route, with occasional driving for school activities. The successful candidates will need to hold a clean driving licence with a Category D1 and have at least 3 years’ driving experience. This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, term time with 30 hours being dedicated to driving. Anticipated hours of work will be Monday to Friday, collecting pupils 6:00am to 9:00am and then returning pupils, 3:30pm to 6:30pm. This may be subject to variation with prior notice depending on the operational needs of the College. Therefore, flexibility will be required to enable picking up any additional driving and/or help with tasks in the wider Estates team between those hours. Weekend working may also be required. The salary for the role is £14.77 per hour.
