Middle School Vice Principal

Position: Middle School Vice Principal Education Stage: Middle School Curriculum: Common Core Minimum Qualification: QFE 9 Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership Minimum Experience: 10 years Job Overview: The Middle School Vice Principal will serve as an instructional and operational leader, working closely with the Middle School Principal to drive school improvement initiatives aligned with ADEK's Irtiqaa framework. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting with teaching and learning quality, student wellbeing and behavior management, curriculum implementation, staff development, and compliance with ADEK/MOE regulations, all with a relentless focus on achieving and sustaining an "Outstanding" performance standard. Skills and Qualifications: - QFE 9 Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership - Above 10 years of experience in the field of education, which includes: 5 years of teaching experience or 5 Years leadership - In-depth knowledge of Common Core curriculum standards for middle school - Must have a proven track record and evidence of leading an Accredited American school with 3-5 years of experience. (We prefer candidates who have worked in Abu Dhabi or Dubai / GCC region in an outstanding school and are highly regarded in these positions.) -A strong understanding of ADEK and Irtiqaa requirements -Must be able to demonstrate examples of successful leadership in driving school improvement and academic standards -A strong understanding of MAP and strategies to develop student performance -Experience of driving data-informed improvements -Experience of Middle or Senior leadership, preferably in the UAE -A deep desire to nurture the students
