Middle School Physics Teacher

The successful candidate will inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry while supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development. Requirements: ● Bachelor’s degree in Physics or a related field with recognized Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). ● A minimum of 2 years of successful teaching experience, preferably within an international British-curriculum context. ● Strong subject knowledge aligned with the UK National Curriculum (Middle School experience preferred). ● Ability to deliver engaging, practical, and inquiry-based science lessons. ● Skilled in positive classroom management and fostering a culture of respect and high expectations. ● Experience using formative and summative assessment to support student progress. ● Strong collaboration and communication skills. Job Description: ● Plan and deliver high-quality Physics lessons aligned with National Curriculum objectives. ● Develop students’ scientific knowledge, analytical skills, and practical laboratory competencies. ● Maintain a safe, well-organized laboratory environment in line with health and safety regulations. ● Assess, monitor, and record student achievement, providing timely feedback and targeted support. ● Maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies and safeguarding expectations. ● Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding academic progress and wellbeing.
