Egypt British International School (EBIS) is seeking a qualified and experienced Physics Teacher to join our team for the 2026 academic year, aligned with our mission of Enriching – Exploring – Excelling and our core values of enrichment, empowerment, esteem, and excellence.

The successful candidate will inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry while supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in Physics or a related field with recognized Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
● A minimum of 2 years of successful teaching experience, preferably within an international British-curriculum context.
● Strong subject knowledge aligned with the UK National Curriculum (Middle School experience preferred).
● Ability to deliver engaging, practical, and inquiry-based science lessons.
● Skilled in positive classroom management and fostering a culture of respect and high expectations.
● Experience using formative and summative assessment to support student progress.
● Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Job Description:
● Plan and deliver high-quality Physics lessons aligned with National Curriculum objectives.
● Develop students’ scientific knowledge, analytical skills, and practical laboratory competencies.
● Maintain a safe, well-organized laboratory environment in line with health and safety regulations.
● Assess, monitor, and record student achievement, providing timely feedback and targeted support.
● Maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies and safeguarding expectations.
● Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding academic progress and wellbeing.
