Middle School English Teacher (Umm Al Quwain Campus)

Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and qualified Middle School English Teacher to join our Umm Al Quwain (UAQ) campus. This role is essential in delivering a high-quality English Language Arts curriculum that fosters literacy, critical thinking, and effective communication among students. The successful candidate will be a collaborative educator committed to student success and the continuous improvement of our academic programs. Key ResponsibilitiesInstructional Leadership: Plan and deliver engaging, student-centered English lessons for Middle School grades at the UAQ campus. Curriculum Alignment: Ensure all teaching aligns with the school’s standards and the specific academic requirements of the campus. Assessment & Reporting: Conduct regular assessments, maintain accurate digital records of student performance, and provide detailed progress reports to leadership and parents. Classroom Culture: Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that manages student behavior effectively and promotes a positive learning atmosphere. Collaboration: Work closely with the English Department and campus leadership to share resources, coordinate assessments, and participate in campus-wide initiatives. Professionalism: Attend staff meetings, contribute to school events, and engage in continuous professional development. Required Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: Bachelor’s degree in English , Education, or a related field from an accredited university. Mandatory Certification: A recognized Teaching Diploma, B.Ed., or PGCE is essential for this position. Experience: Previous experience teaching English at the Middle School level is preferred. Language Proficiency: Native or near-native English fluency (written and verbal). Technical Skills: Proficiency in using educational technology and school management systems for record-keeping and lesson delivery.
