Temporary - Maternity cover until 31 st December 2026 8.75 hours per week (11:45 AM to 1:30 PM) Possible additional 2.5 hours in Breakfast Club Assistant (Grade 1) (8:30 AM to 9:00 AM) Ysgol Bryn Onnen are looking for a caring and enthusiastic individual to join our team of midday supervisors.This role is vital in the school to ensure the safeguarding and safety of all pupils during their lunch break.
Training and induction will be provided to the successful candidate.
The role involves supervising and supporting pupils as they eat and play during lunch breaks. This includes supporting pupils with complex additional needs as they eat and play. The ability to work as part of a team, follow direction and work flexibly within the role are key features of a successful candidate. Good communication skills ar important to the role as are being punctual and reliable.
Ysgol Bryn Onnen is a Welsh medium school. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; however training opportunities can be given for a non-Welsh speaker to develop their language skills once appointed.
