Castledyke Primary School is a well-established primary school built on strong family values, where everyone is seen, recognised and valued. We believe in every child’s potential and it's our job to make each and every one of them thrive. These values have meant we have been educating the children of Barton for over 100 years.
Our children are amazing. They are intelligent, articulate, funny and curious; they deserve the very best school experience and we intend to make sure that this is what they get.
To do this, we need outstanding staff who are dedicated, caring, positive and energetic. We are proud to have a committed staff team who make a difference to our pupils every day, and we are looking for someone to join us as a Midday Supervisor and support our journey to ensure Castledyke Primary School continues to be a safe, happy and memorable place where children thrive and develop positive experiences that stay with them throughout their lives.
The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate pride, positivity, patience and enthusiasm, with a commitment to ensuring the school maintains the highest possible reputation within the local community and beyond.
We are seeking somebody who is enthusiastic, motivated and able to:
Supervise pupils in dining areas, playgrounds and around the school premises during lunchtime;
Encourage positive behaviour and maintain a calm, safe and caring environment throughout lunchtime periods;
Support pupils with play activities and promote positive social interaction;
Assist with the cleaning of spillages and the general tidiness of dining and play areas;
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils at all times during lunchtime supervision.
Castledyke School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to apply for enhanced disclosure
