About the Role
We’re looking for a friendly, caring and proactive Lunchtime Supervisor to join our school community.
Lunchtime is such an important part of the day with rich learning opportunities for our pupils.
You will be part of a supportive team that looks after pupils in the dining hall and playground encouraging independence and supporting social and emotional aspects of pupils needs. From helping younger children with their lunch to leading playtime activities, you’ll bring warmth, patience and energy to every day.

Key Responsibilities
• Encourage appropriate exercise and activities to promote health and well-being
• Supervising pupils during lunch and play, making sure everyone feels safe, included and respected.
• Helping to keep the dining hall and surrounding areas clean, tidy and hygienic.
• Supporting children who may need a bit of extra help or encouragement.
• Respond to pupils’ welfare needs, including comforting, and reporting concerns to the senior midday supervisor or class teacher
• Report any safeguarding concerns in line with the school’s child protection policy
