At John Leggott College, we’re looking for a compassionate, proactive and inspiring Mental Health & Wellbeing Support Worker to join our dedicated safeguarding and pastoral team. This is a truly rewarding role where you’ll play a vital part in helping students overcome challenges, build resilience and fully access their education.
No two days are the same in this dynamic role. You’ll support students one-to-one and in groups, delivering impactful workshops and wellbeing initiatives that make a real difference. From early intervention and managing referrals to promoting positive coping strategies, you’ll play a key role in helping students thrive.
Working closely with colleagues, families and external partners, you’ll ensure students receive the right support at the right time, while also designing creative programmes that build confidence, resilience and positive mental health.
As part of the safeguarding team, you’ll contribute to early help and support processes, helping to identify and respond to concerns and uphold the highest standards across the college.
We’re looking for someone approachable, empathetic and resilient, who can build strong relationships with young people, manage a varied caseload and bring energy and fresh ideas to student wellbeing.
