Men's Football Coach

Men’s 1st team Football Coach at Hills Road Sixth Form College (Cambridge) Fixed Term, Part-time 6 hours per week £26.57 per hour We are looking for an experienced part-time coach to coach our college 1st Men’s football team. This involves working alongside a team of three other coaches, running pre-season trials, team coaching and selecting squads. The team plays in AoC Sport leagues and Cup and a local College league. A key aspect of this role involves taking a holistic approach to developing our men’s football team—fostering not only technical and tactical growth, but also building a strong, positive team culture. The successful candidate will be committed to nurturing the right mindset among players, with a focus on resilience, teamwork, and continuous improvement both on and off the pitch. The successful applicant must have an FA coaching qualification and have held a driving licence for at least two years (no more than three points). Driving a minibus to weekly fixtures is an integral part of the role, however training will be provided. The post is a fixed – term contract starting 24th August 2026 and to April 31st 2027. However, if the season extends into the summer term then payment will be made for these sessions. The Sport Department at Hills Road Sixth Form College is highly successful.
