Media Production Technician

Barnet & Southgate College is seeking a Media Production Technician to support teaching, learning and assessment across our Creative Industries provision. This is a practical, hands‑on role supporting delivery within TV studios, post‑production suites, sound facilities and specialist media spaces. Working closely with staff and students, the post holder will ensure equipment and environments are safe, well‑maintained and fit for high‑quality creative production. The role is ideal for someone with strong media production or broadcast technical skills who enjoys supporting learners in an educational setting and contributing to a creative, professional studio culture. About the Role You will provide technical support during lessons, assessments, productions and live events, enabling students to work confidently and safely with industry‑standard media equipment. You will maintain and manage technical resources, support creative projects and work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure sessions run smoothly.
