Here, you'll have the opportunity to help young people discover that they can succeed in Maths — building confidence, independence and skills that will stay with them long beyond the classroom. Working with children and young people with autism, learning difficulties and additional needs, you'll teach smaller classes where you can truly get to know your pupils, understand how they learn and adapt your approach to help them thrive. Make Maths accessible and relevant through creative teaching, practical learning and real-world applications. Adapt lessons, resources and strategies to support pupils with autism and additional learning needs. Build positive relationships that help pupils feel safe, understood and ready to learn. Track progress, celebrate milestones and help pupils recognise their own achievements. Work collaboratively with therapists, families and colleagues to provide consistent, holistic support.
