We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Maths Subject Lead to drive excellence in mathematics from Nursery to Year 6. About the Role The successful candidate will: Ø Lead and develop the teaching and learning of mathematics across the whole primary age range (Nursery–Year 6) Ø Work across both the infant and junior schools to ensure a consistent and high-quality maths curriculum for all pupils Ø Monitor and evaluate standards, ensuring high-quality provision and outcomes Ø Support colleagues to deliver engaging and effective maths lessons Ø Work closely with senior leaders to implement the school’s vision for maths Ø Teach a Year 6 class in the first year, preparing pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments and then in subsequent years, have the opportunity to teach across different year groups We Are Looking for Someone Who: Ø Has a strong track record of excellent classroom practice Ø Has a deep understanding of maths pedagogy across the primary phase Ø Is passionate about curriculum development and innovation Ø Has the ability to inspire, lead, and support staff across multiple settings Ø Demonstrates high expectations for all pupils and a commitment to inclusion We Offer Ø A supportive and collaborative staff team across both schools Ø Opportunities for professional development and leadership growth Ø Enthusiastic pupils who enjoy learning Ø A forward-thinking environment where your ideas are valued This role would suit an experienced teacher looking to take the next step in leadership or an existing subject lead seeking a new challenge.
