Maths Functional Skills Tutor

CLOSING DATE 16th July 2026 We are seeking Qualified Tutors (with Maths Functional Skills Experience) to support our Post 16 Warwickshire delivery team. Location – across Warwickshire Outreach & Post 16 Hub based in Nuneaton - own transport required to transport young people. Working pattern - 40 weeks (term time plus 5 days across the year for training & development) Working hours - Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm (Part time days available) September Start Date! The Dare2Dream Foundation is looking for a passionate and nurturing Functional Skills Maths Tutor to join our Post-16 team, supporting young people aged 16–25 with SEND, SEMH needs and barriers to education. This is an opportunity to make a genuine difference by helping learners develop confidence, literacy skills and the qualifications they need to move on to further education, employment and independent living. The role will involve: Delivering engaging Functional Skills English and other programmes suitable to individual skills and Dare2Dream curriculum model Creating practical, learner-centred lessons that inspire and motivate. Supporting learners to develop confidence, communication and employability skills. Building positive relationships and acting as a trusted adult and role model. Helping young people overcome barriers and celebrate success. We are looking for someone who: Has experience teaching, training or mentoring young people. Is passionate about inclusive education and supporting vulnerable learners. Can deliver creative and engaging learning experiences. Has experience of Functional Skills Maths and other learning programmes/subjects. Believes in high aspirations and the potential of every young person.
