Mathematics is a popular and well-established subject at St Andrews and we are looking for an inspiring teacher to join the team. Class sizes are small and the students are motivated and enthusiastic, enjoying a lively approach to the subject through a wide range of teaching and learning techniques.

Inspiring Learning and Development
As a Mathematics teacher at St Andrews, you will nurture the academic and personal growth of your class, adapting teaching methods to meet the individual needs, abilities, and interests of each student. Staying informed on current educational practices, you'll bring fresh approaches to our curriculum and provide regular, meaningful feedback to parents. Collaborative planning is central to our approach, and you'll work closely with colleagues and Heads of Subject to design cohesive learning experiences for students.
Our Key Stage 3 schemes of work are based on the National Curriculum but adapted to encourage creative approaches to real-life applications and taught in mixed-ability groups. At Key Stage 4, Years 10 and 11 students study IGCSE Mathematics, with some students each year taking their IGCSE exam early and then following a Further Pure Maths course.
In Key Stage 5, all students continue to study Mathematics as a pathway to graduation. Students can choose to study Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches or Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation, as part of their IB Diploma or IB Career-re
