Lunchtime Supervisor Gidea Park Preparatory School and Nursery Contract: Permanent - Part Time (10 hours per week) Start Date: September 2026 We are looking to appoint lunchtime supervisor to join our wonderful staff team at Gidea Park Preparatory School and Nursery. Gidea Park Preparatory School and Nursery is an independent, co-educational day school for children aged 6 months to 11, where pupils get the best start possible and learn in a happy and secure environment. Founded in 1917, we have been educating, nurturing and challenging children for over 100 years. Children are at the heart of everything we do; our small classes and school environment truly allow us to know our pupils as individuals and to tailor our teaching and curriculum accordingly. We have high expectations for our pupil’s academic progress and personal development and work closely with our parents to ensure that all our pupils get the very most from their time with us. Purpose of the Job: Supervise the pupils in the dining hall and playground areas during the mealtime period to minimise any disruption, so that all pupils are safe, cared for and have an enjoyable and sociable lunchtime. Engage actively with pupils in the playground (play games with them, talk to them) Contribute to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare and personal care of children and young people with regard to the area child protection procedures.
