Lower School Class Teacher

The role Kensington Prep School is seeking an experienced Class Teacher to join our Lower School team on a maternity cover basis from September 2026. The successful candidate will teach either a Reception or Year 1 class, depending on their experience and the School's needs. Significant and demonstrable experience of teaching within EYFS and/or Key Stage 1 is essential, as this role requires a confident practitioner with a thorough understanding of the developmental, pastoral and academic needs of young children. About you This role would suit an excellent classroom practitioner with strong subject and curriculum knowledge, who brings energy, warmth and imagination to the classroom and is passionate about supporting young children at this important stage of their learning journey. You will have previous experience of teaching within EYFS or Key Stage 1 and will understand the importance of nurturing confidence, independence and curiosity in young learners. Why Kensington Prep?
