Position: Librarian Location: Madeira Campus Education Stage: Early Years to IB Diploma Curriculum: IB Minimum Qualification: Bachelor Degree Experience Required: Previous experience preferred Job Overview: As a Librarian at our Madeira Campus, you will play an essential role in supporting students and staff by managing library resources, fostering a love for reading, and promoting information literacy within the IB framework. Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor Degree in Library Science or related field preferred; candidates with other degrees who demonstrate strong organisational skills are welcome. - Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students, teachers, and parents. - Basic knowledge of library management systems or willingness to learn. - Ability to organise resources efficiently and maintain an inviting library environment. - Familiarity or interest in the International Baccalaureate curriculum is advantageous but not mandatory. - Proficiency in English; additional languages are considered a plus. - Good IT skills including use of digital research tools.
