About this role
Within GORSE, we are passionate that all children excel, regardless of their background or additional needs. We are therefore incredibly proud to have opened Little London Bridge, a dedicated Resource Provision for children with Autism and/or Complex Communication Needs, which has been supporting pupils successfully since January 2025.
Little London Bridge has joined our established resource provisions, Rainbow Base and Horizons. Together, these provisions cater for over 130 primary and secondary students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). Little London Bridge benefits from the extensive expertise available across our trust, while continuing to develop its own strong and unique identity within the Little London community.
Little London Academy formally joined The GORSE Academies Trust in February 2024, and we are immensely proud of our academy and the community we serve. We are a happy school where pupils are encouraged to become considerate and responsible members of society. Above all, we aim for our pupils to enjoy their time at school and to experience the joy of learning, perseverance and challenge.
Since opening, Little London Bridge has continued to grow and develop. As of September 2026, Little London Bridge will cater for 40 primary-aged pupils with EHCPs and Autism and/or Complex Communication Needs. The provision benefits from multiple teaching spaces, a purpose-built outdoor area, a sensory room and a sensory integration room, all designed to meet the needs of our pupils.
The entire Little London Academy community remains incredibly proud of Little London Bridge and the positive impact it is already having. The provision is helping to meet the growing need for specialist places, supporting children and families within the local community and beyond.
