About this role
About The Role
The King’s Trust programme at Telford College provides a supportive and inclusive year for students who may not yet have the academic or social skills needed to progress directly onto their chosen vocational or academic course.
The programme gives students the opportunity to try new experiences, develop new skills and build on their existing strengths, helping them to grow in confidence, self-esteem and self-belief. Alongside this personal development, students work towards a nationally recognised Level 1 or Level 2 qualification.
As part of the programme, students develop skills in areas including teamwork, physical wellbeing, career planning, digital skills and money management, as well as completing an enterprise project. The programme also provides dedicated time to improve maths and English grades, helping students achieve the entry requirements they need to progress onto their chosen college course or future pathway.
This role offers an opportunity to support students throughout this important year, helping them develop the skills, confidence and qualifications they need to take their next steps towards further education, employment and their future goals.
