The successful candidate will be a clear communicator with a passion for their subject and ideally hold a degree or equivalent qualification in a related subject. Applicants should be willing to contribute to the development of new and existing courses and be able to inspire and motivate learners. Ideally you should have a sport background or have experience of teaching a range of sport units at different levels of learning. The successful applicant will be able to teach across a range of sport related courses and would ideally be able to identify and promote volunteering opportunities and work experience links to industry within these areas. Possession of a teacher training qualification either a PGCE or a Certificate in Education is essential and someone with Sports Science or HE experience would be highly desirable.
