We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and reflective, qualified teacher of Law as part of the A’ Level curriculum. The successful candidate will have access to a range of high-quality resources and be expected to contribute to an experienced team of well qualified and dedicated staff within the Expressive Arts Division. Law provision within the college at level 3 includes A’ Level and BTEC Applied Law level 3 Certificate/Extended Certificate.
In addition to Law, opportunities to deliver on other programmes may be possible.
You are expected to be a student-centred teacher with a good level of organisation, excellent classroom management skills, and a strong academic background in Law or a very closely allied subject. You will be responsible for the delivery of the course and would ideally be able to demonstrate previous high levels of student achievement at level 3. You will have a keen interest in, and awareness of contemporary issues, and be able to engage students in the application of these ideas within the Law curriculum. Your enthusiasm should extend to extra-curricular activities such as organising/taking part in visits and encouraging a wider enrichment experience for your students. This post could be suitable for newly qualified teachers or trainees with a legal background.
