About this role

Salary: £31,966 - £46,980 per annum (Salary dependent on qualifications and experience) Contract: Full Time, Permanent (may consider part time) Required From: 1st September 2026 An exciting opportunity has arisen for an adaptable and creative individual to teach in our successful Law department. You may have a strong background in teaching Law or perhaps looking to move into teaching from the legal sector, whether this be from a solicitors, courtroom, human resources department, Police force, or an industry where legalities are applied in practice. If this is the case, we would like to hear from you. Here at Cirencester College, we run the OCR AL Law course as part of our level three offering. We also deliver the Legal T-level course, an exciting course that sees students gain industry experience in real-life settings. The position would require the successful candidate to teach across both courses. After good results in 2025, we want a highly motivated and student-centred practitioner to join our team and to contribute to the continued success of the department. Could you inspire the next generation of Legal professionals to thrive and succeed? The role entails: Teaching to a high standard and developing student’s skills and confidence to succeed. Working collaboratively with an experienced Law and social sciences team. Playing a full role as a member of the Faculty and College community Providing pastoral support for students if your role includes being a personal tutor Candidates should have a commitment to post compulsory education at FE and be motivated to achieve high standards in teaching and learning. The ability to work well within a team and to adapt to curriculum demands is essential. Candidates will be committed to the Cirencester College mission and vision and be able to demonstrate the ability to work to deadlines in a demanding environment.
