Do you have a passion for cars? If you love cars and enjoy working on them, sharing that passion with students is really rewarding. You’ll also be continuously learning, the automotive field is always evolving with new technologies and innovations, what a brilliant way to stay updated.
What you’ll be doing…
training apprentices and wider industry
marking work, tracking progress and giving feedback
supporting, training and mentoring the next generation of automotive technicians at our state-of-the-art Technology Centre in Monkerton (near M5 junction 29), and on site with a range of employers
you’ll also have a caseload of students to visit in the workplace, so there’ll be lots of variety.
You’ll need to be…
positive, supportive and passionate, with a can-do attitude
organised and reliable
able to explain things simply and clearly
able to inspire students with your infectious enthusiasm and energy
experienced in teaching or assessing apprentices, or
experienced in the automotive industry looking to change role, move into teaching or becoming an assessor
willing to work towards assessing and teaching qualifications
