Learning Support Teacher - Junior School

Summary
We are seeking to appoint a Junior School Learning Support Teacher to join our Junior School team, working across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher who will work under the direction of the SENCo, and in close collaboration with class teachers, to support pupils with additional learning needs.
The role will include a mix of pull-out lessons, small-group interventions, and in-class support, and may involve working with pupils across the Early Years and Junior School. The post holder will contribute to high-quality inclusive practice in line with the EYFS Framework, the English National Curriculum, the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), and established SEND protocols and policies, reflecting the ethos of an inclusive British international school.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, deliver and evaluate high-quality pull-out lessons, small-group interventions and targeted individual support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
Provide in-class support within the classroom environment, working alongside class teachers as needed
Support pupils with SEND/SEN, EAL needs and specific learning differences, in line with agreed SEND protocols and IEP and EHCP outcomes, where applicable
Work closely with class teachers to plan differentiated learning, reasonable adjustments and targeted interventions
Contribute to the development, implementation and review of EHCP targets, Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and other support documentation, under the guidance of the Junior School SENCo
Take an active role in safeguarding pupils in line with the school's safeguarding policies and procedures
Monitor, assess and record pupil progress against EHCP outcomes and intervention targets, sharing outcomes with class teachers and the SENCo
Implement recommended strategies and programmes from external professionals and therapists
Support pupils’ academic
