Learning Support Coordinator - Full Time (Urca Site)
A wonderful opportunity has arisen for an experienced, well-qualified and collaborative Special Educational Needs expert to lead our established Learning Support department within the secondary section of the school. The British School prides itself on being an inclusive school where students with different cognitive and emotional profiles can access the curriculum, participate in activities and reach their potential. The Learning Support Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring this, including advocating for SEN students as well as those with exceptional abilities and ensuring that all teachers have the resources and training to enable them to flourish and leading a team of learning support assistants who support students with specific special educational needs.

Leading learning and teaching
Being involved in determining, organising and implementing the curriculum and establishing creative, responsive and effective approaches to learning and teaching (including the appropriate use of new and emerging technologies).
Using appropriate data to monitor pupils' progress, set
