Job overview
We are seeking a nurturing and experience Learning Support Assistant who will provide one to one support to a pupil who presents with sensory processing needs and social, behavioural and emotional regulation challenges. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the pupil’s learning, emotional regulation, communication and engagement as he transitions from our Early Years to Key Stage 1 in September.
You will be a calm, creative and proactive practitioner with the ability to adapt approaches, build strong relationships, and implement structured support strategies tailored to individual needs. You will ensure that the pupil can integrate as fully as possible in school life, supporting his communication skills, and promoting his self-esteem, independence and participation in class.

Learning Support Assistants work under the guidance of the Head of Learning Enrichment and the Assistant Head of Pre-Prep and as part of the wider Learning Enrichment team which includes other Learning Support Assistant, Learning Enrichment Teaching Assistants and Learning Enrichment Specialists.
