Job Description:
As a Learning Support Assistant at St Antony’s, you will work closely with teachers and other staff to provide additional support to students who may need extra help with their learning. This role involves assisting in classroom activities, supporting individual or small groups of pupils, and helping create an encouraging atmosphere that promotes student confidence and progress.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Good communication skills both with children and adults
- Patience, empathy, and understanding towards students’ needs
- Ability to follow instructions carefully from teaching staff
- Willingness to learn new skills related to supporting pupil development
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
