Learning Support Assistant (SEN) / One to One SEN - 5 days per week Term Time Plus INSETS (34.4 weeks per year) Salary £24,600 - £28,800 based on 5 days per week, term time plus INSETS (this is the actual salary for the role) Starting 1 September 2026 ​Job overview We are seeking a nurturing and experience Learning Support Assistant who will provide one to one support to a pupil who presents with sensory processing needs and social, behavioural and emotional regulation challenges. ​The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the pupil’s learning, emotional regulation, communication and engagement as he transitions from our Early Years to Key Stage 1 in September.​ ​You will be a calm, creative and proactive practitioner with the ability to adapt approaches, build strong relationships, and implement structured support strategies tailored to individual needs. You will ensure that the pupil can integrate as fully as possible in school life, supporting his communication skills, and promoting his self-esteem, independence and participation in class. ​ ​Newland House and the Learning Enrichment team pride ourselves in creating a fully inclusive and safe setting, where all children thrive.
