About the Role: As a Learning Support Assistant at Little Downsend, you will play a vital role in supporting the education, wellbeing and development of pupils in the Early Years and Key Stage 1. Working under the guidance of the SENCo, you will support individual pupils and small groups both in and out of the classroom, helping them to access learning safely, confidently and inclusively. You will build positive relationships with pupils, act as a strong role model, and contribute to a nurturing, well‑managed environment where every child feels valued. This role also involves supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and, where appropriate, English as an Additional Language, while upholding the school’s safeguarding, behaviour and pastoral care expectations.
