About this role
Bassett House School is looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, and motivated Learning Support Assistant to join our team. You will support pupils in their academic achievement, as well as their mental health and wellbeing.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building supportive relationships with pupils, possess excellent teamwork and communication skills, and be caring and patient. Previous experience of working with young people in an SEN/ASC environment, particularly within Key Stages 1 and 2, is essential.
Our Learning Support Assistants work both inside and outside the classroom, on a one-to-one and small-group basis, supporting pupils with a wide range of learning needs.
This is a part-time position, working four hours per day, Monday to Friday, on a fixed-term contract for one year.
