LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT

Hipperholme Grammar School is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work across the whole school Foundation (ages 5-16).
The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and the SENCO to support pupils with special educational needs, helping them to access the curriculum, develop independence and achieve their full potential. Ideally, you will have previous experience of working in a school as a teaching/support assistant alongside pupils with SEN, although this is not essential as full training and support will be provided.
Hipperholme is an independent day school for pupils aged 3-16, with preschool, juniors and seniors sections. The school is located in the village of Hipperholme, having been founded here in 1648 by Matthew Broadley. Class sizes are small, with junior year groups up to 20 pupils and senior year groups being around 40 pupils, split between two classes. We pride ourselves on knowing all our pupils as individuals, nurturing them, inspiring them and helping them achieve their best, whatever that may be.
