The Role
East Meon C of E Primary School is looking for a dedicated and inspiring Learning Support Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will create a safe, engaging and structured environment that allows our SEND children to access the curriculum, develop their communication skills and support them to self-regulate.

Essential Criteria:
Exceptional patience and the ability to remain calm and regulated under pressure.
A proactive "can-do" attitude with a focus on inclusive practice.
The desire to work with children on a 1:1, or 1:3 basis, work alongside children with additional needs.
Desirable Criteria:
Previous experience in an educational setting.
Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEND)
Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare)
CPD offer
Training in sensory processing
De-escalation techniques
Team teach approaches
Safeguarding training
First Aid training.
