Learning Mentor Level 3

Are you interested in working with young people? Do you have the skills to support students with special educational needs in our multi-cultural 11-16 school? We are seeking a Learning Mentor who is willing to support teaching staff in the development and education of our pupils and to assist in promoting the learning and personal development of the pupil to whom you are assigned. We have an extensive support and CPD programme. We are looking for an experienced individual who possesses effective communication skills .You will: Have GCSE in English and mathematics at grade A*-C or equivalent Have an NVQ Level 3 Childcare Qualification or equivalent Have a minimum of two years’ experience of working with children and young people Have experience of using good communication and interpersonal skills Have experience of undertaking a range of administrative tasks Be a self- motivated and enthusiastic worker Please email an application form to j.phelan@khss.org.uk to apply
