Salary: FTE £28,800 gross per annum pro rata (actual £26,125)
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:00, 41 working weeks per annum
Start date: As soon as possible / 1st September 2026
Fir Vale Academy is seeking to appoint a Learning Coach to join their newly established team. The academy is part of United Learning, a national group of schools and academies. Fir Vale Academy is an 11-16 secondary school located in the north of Sheffield. The post-holder, working within a team of Learning Coaches, will support a caseload of students, providing tailored pastoral and academic interventions to improve behaviour, engagement, attendance and overall readiness for learning. The role aims to strengthen the bridge between home and school while helping students make sustained progress and successfully transition back into mainstream education.
