Are you an excellent, passionate and ambitious teacher of Physics, with the ability to lead and inspire others? We are seeking a Lead Teacher for Physics to play a key role in the continued development of Physics teaching and learning across the school. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner who is ready to take on curriculum leadership responsibility while continuing to model outstanding classroom practice.
The successful applicant will:
• Lead and develop the Physics curriculum across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5
• Model excellent teaching and learning and support colleagues through coaching and mentoring
• Contribute to raising standards of achievement and outcomes in Physics
• Work collaboratively within a dynamic, committed Science department
• Support whole-school priorities through subject leadership and professional practice
A specialism in Physics is essential, along with the ability to lead, coach and inspire others.
