About this role

Princess May Primary School is looking for an exceptional year 6 teacher and curriculum leader to drive the school forward in its pursuit of becoming exceptional in all areas, and giving our children the absolute best life chances. You may be an existing middle leader looking to take the next step on your leadership journey. You will already be an exceptional year 6 teacher with a proven track record of success, and an expert in curriculum development and implementation. Our statutory attainment is amongst the highest in Hackney and so it is vital that applicants have the intrinsic motivation and inspirational qualities to maintain these high standards. Candidates should be prepared to be hard-working, flexible and willing to go the extra mile in what is a very busy and high-performing one-form-entry school. Our curriculum was developed and carefully crafted from the ground-up in 2020, and recognised in our 2023 Ofsted inspection as a strength. The successful applicant will lead on supporting all staff to implement our existing curriculum and ensure outstanding impact for our children. There will be a strong focus on year 6 attainment and progress. You will become an instrumental part of the senior leadership team. The role has a 60% teaching commitment .
