About this Role This is a rare and exciting opportunity to lead Seacole, Kingsway Park High School’s newly developed inclusive support base, and help shape ambitious personalised pathways for students experiencing barriers to mainstream education. Seacole is designed to provide relational, aspirational and highly personalised support for students with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs and other complex barriers impacting engagement, attendance and learning. The successful candidate will play a central role in establishing the culture, systems and inclusive practice that underpin Seacole moving forward. The school is making a significant investment into the development of Seacole, including specialist teaching spaces, intervention rooms, sensory facilities and adaptive learning environments designed to support vulnerable students whilst maintaining strong connections to mainstream education. Key Responsibilities Lead the strategic development and day-to-day operation of Seacole and personalised pathwaysDevelop inclusive approaches that support engagement, reintegration and belongingCoordinate and quality assure external alternative provision placements where appropriateOversee adaptive curriculum pathways and personalised support strategiesLead and support staff working within SeacoleWork collaboratively with families, external agencies and wider school teamsPromote high expectations, relational practice and inclusive supportMonitor attendance, behaviour, safeguarding and student progress to evaluate impactWhat We Are Looking For Qualified Teacher StatusStrong understanding of SEMH and inclusive practiceExperience supporting students experiencing barriers to mainstream educationExperience leading or coordinating personalised pathways, interventions or support systemsExcellent relational, communication and leadership skillsA passionate and values-driven leader committed to improving outcomes for vulnerable young peopleSomeone who believes inclusion shou
